Del Negro is newest coach pick

Picking a coach for the Chicago Bulls is somewhat like spinning a wheel of fortune. Only when you land on a good slice of the wheel, sometimes it jumps up and run away.

So let’s hope for the best and keep both fingers crossed as the Chicago Bulls announce their latest coach pick: Vinny Del Negro, the assistant coach of the Phoenix Suns. Many, Jerry Reinsdorf and John Paxson love themselves some Suns. Hopefully Del Negro won’t up and leave them after initially seeming interested.

Now, granted, this new pick isn’t confirmed–or rather, it’s confirmed by an anonymous source. And if there’s anything we’ve learned through this ordeal, it’s that anonymous sources aren’t always totally accurate. If they were, Doug Collins would have been standing before a press conference flanked by Reinsdorf and Paxson a long while ago.
