The Chicago Bulls might be back in business. While on the road in Charlotte, the Bulls got another win, this time against the not-half-bad Charlotte Bobcats. The Bulls won 106-93, pulling away at the end of the game with a 31-point fourth quarter. The Bulls’ new head coach, Jim Boylan, has been inserting Joakim Noah into the starting lineup to stiffen up the defense, using Ben Gordon off the bench to provide a scoring spark when needed. So far, the strategy has worked. The Bulls are playing more fluidly on offense, and they appear to be an improved team on the glass, as well.
All of the recent changes- the new coach, the new starting lineup, and a new year- have Marty Burns at SportsIllstrated.com believing that the Bulls are one of the most likely teams in the NBA to turn around their bad start in 2008. The Jazz and the Cavs were the only two teams that Burns throught would have a more likely shot at righting their respective ships. You should check it out if you feel like getting pumped about the future of the team in ’08.
