Bulls Thinking About the Draft

June 18, 2007

We are now knee deep in the muck known as NBA Draft over-think. The Chicago Bulls, and those of us who buy Chicago Bulls tickets, have little else to do than to sink deeper and deeper into presumptions, predictions and over reanalysis about who the Bulls will draft or not draft this year.

The deadline for college players to turn back to the NCAA is today at 5:00. Spencer Hawes, the center from Washington, is expected to announce whether he will declare himself eligible for the draft, or remain a collegiate athlete today. The Bulls anxiously await his decision, knowing that his is one of their top prospects.

Of course, there are a multitude of directions the draft could go. Mike McGraw discuses some the teams who are picking in the lotterey in spots 3-8 to try to determine who will be left by the Bulls’ number nine pick.
It might be that Joakim Noah, the unfortunate-looking former Florida Gator, is around when the Bulls go to pick. Then if the Bulls select him, you can get tickets to see him play in Chicago by getting Chicago Bulls tickets at StubHub.com.
