Bulls Await Decisions

June 15, 2007

The deadline for college basketball players to declare themselves eligible for the NBA Draft is Monday at 5:00, and believe you me, the Chicago Bulls will be anxious to hear the news- whatever it may be. The Bulls, as you may know, have a pretty good spot in the lottery draft, the No. 9 spot.
Since the Bulls are fairly open about their desire to get a center or forward, there are a few players on the bubble who might just be making a decision over the weekend to play in Chicago next season. Most notably, Spencer Hawes, the center from Washington, has not hired an agent or decided to return to UW. His future remains in limbo, much like that of the other top undecided big men, DeVon Hardin of Cal, Charles Rhodes of Mississippi State, and Thaddeus Young of Georgia Tech.
If Hawes decides to try his hand at the draft, you may well see him still available when the Bulls pick. Then you can start buying your Chicago Bulls tickets at StubHub.com for a chance to see the newest Bulls’ center, Specer Hawes.
