Bulls Look at Brewer, Others

The Chicago Bulls have been giving plenty of potential NBA Draft picks their chance to prove themselves. The Bulls invited Corey Brewer to a workout over the weekend. Though Brewer is only 6′8”, 185, he is was given attention with the taller candidates just the same.

Said Brewer, ”Yeah, it’s a tough 185. I need to gain a few pounds. But it’s all about playing basketball. As long as you can perform, you’ll be fine. I was a little surprised [at the Bulls' interest]; I figured they’d go big. But it’s just a great opportunity to come in and work out for them.”

Brewer would add size and defense to the Bulls’ back court, but by most accounts, the Bulls are more interested in the big guys who came to the Berto Center, including Florida State’s Al Thornton.
