Change in Bull’s Future Roster?

May 21, 2007

The Chicago Bulls are just a few days removed from exiting the 2007 NBA playoffs, yet talk of trades and draft picks have people wondering if the same team that got to game six of the Eastern Conference semifinals will be back together next year, or, if the Bulls team will have a lot of unfamiliar faces.

The Bulls are actually sitting on a pretty good position right now. Despite the fact that they were clearly one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference last season, they have the No. 9 draft spot- though that could change with the lotterey drawing this week. They also aren’t in a bad position financially, and don’t have the salary cap woes that other basketball teams have. This could spark some interesting off season trades. There are a lot of things to consider in contractual issues, trades, the draft picks, etc, and we have all summer to figure it out.

The Bulls were good this year, but they have a really great opportunity to be even better next year if they make the right moves. Then, this time next year you could be going to StubHub.com to buy Chicago Bulls tickets for a Eastern Conference Finals game.
