Bulls Win, Extend Series

If you were hoping to find Chicago Bulls tickets available at StubHub.com for a game six in Chicago, this is your lucky day. The Chicago Bulls won in Detroit last night, beating the Pistons 108-92 in a do-or-die fifth game of their Eastern Conference semifinals series.

Chicago started off the game by shooting at a near record pace. At the end of the first half, they were over 70% from the field. They led the whole way through the game and, in general, looked like the hungrier, more focused team on the court.

The lack of poise and effort was uncharacteristic for the Pistons, though they had clearly relaxed a bit after getting up 3-0 in the series. Said Pistons guard Chauncey Billups, “I can’t say we did that intentionally, but it’s human nature when you get that kind of a cushion to let up a little bit. Our team, as you know, is not that good with cushions. Unfortunately, we’ve done that time and time again and have had to go on the road to win.”
