The Chicago Bulls were able to hold on to a lead late in the game last night to defeat the Detroit Pistons 102-87 in Chicago. The series will travel back to Detroit for game No. 5 in this Eastern Conference semifinals series with the Pistons up 3-1. The Bulls entered the game on Sunday on the verge of being swept out of the playoffs.
The Bulls were in danger of giving up a big lead like they did in game 3. But the Bulls survived the Pistons’ late surge and walked away winners, though still with their backs against the wall. Said Bulls forward P.J. Brown, “The biggest difference is we stayed aggressive. We didn’t relax. The other night, we had a big lead, and instead of continuing to do the things that got us to the 19-point lead, we relaxed and weren’t aggressive.”
So if the Bulls can win three more in a row, they will pull off a nearly impossible feat. As we can see with the NBA playoffs this year, anything can happen. If you would like to be a part of a potential game 6 in Chicago, make sure to check out StubHub.com for Chicago Bulls playoff tickets.
