Bulls Down 3-0 to Pistons

May 11, 2007

Last night the Chicago Bulls were defeated by the Detroit Pistons in game number three in their NBA Eastern Conference semifinals match up. This loss was particularly disappointing because the Bulls had been hoping to turn the series around at home in Chicago after losing two blowouts in Detroit and because the Bulls had, at one point, amassed a 19-point lead in the game.

The Pistons came charging back in the second half, though. Detroit rallied to win this one 81-74, putting the Bulls down a seemingly insurmountable three games to none for the series. No NBA team has come back to win a series down 3-0, and only three professional sports teams in history have done such a thing, one of them being the 2004 Boston Red Sox. Game four is set for Sunday. Hopefully there will be Chicago Bulls tickets available at StubHub.com for a game five after all is said and done this weekend.
