Middle of a Long Wait for Bulls

May 9, 2007

Today is Wednesday, hump day, exactly three days since the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons last met on Sunday, and three days until they meet again for game three on Saturday. Doesn’t that seem ridiculous to anybody else? Of course it does. I’m sure you’ve heard it a thousand times before, but these NBA playoffs get drug out way too long. I understand the whole maximizing the viewer audience. But I also understand the word seriously?

If you want to get Chicago Bulls tickets for their playoff games at StubHub.com they will be happening on Saturday, Monday and Thursday. That would be three games in eleven days, for those of you keeping score.

It just gives the Bulls more time to focus and over analyze every aspect of their first two losses in this semifinals series. What a depressing week for the Bulls players and coaches. Then again, the Pistons might lose momentum after their victories.
