The trash talking between the Chicago Bulls and the Detroit Pistons has officially started as of yesterday. The Bulls meet the Pistons in Auburn Hills in a couple of days, but already the players on both sides are making predictions and taking verbal swipes.
Said Bulls forward Andres Nocioni, “We are going to win. We are going to win, of course. I believe we can win. We are going to play seven games, and we are going to win (Game 7) in Detroit. It will be nice. Nice.”
Rip Hamilton, a favorite whipping boy of the Bulls for his previous altercations with players and coaches on the team, said of former teammate and future competitor Ben Wallace, “Right now it’s all business. There’s no conversation, no buddy-ball, none of that. I know I am coming right at Ben Wallace’s chest. He better watch out.” ….OOOOooooooo!
Things are already starting to get nasty, and the tip off is still days away. This one looks like it’s going to be a long, intense series. You still have a few days left to get Chicago Bulls tickets at StubHub.com for the upcoming series with the Detroit Pistons.
