As far as the Road Rules of Basketball go, a lot of times you hear players and coaches say that they just hope to break even during a long stretch of away games. But that’s the kind of attitude that will get you straight into a Gauntlet Challenge, or a laughingly uninformed socio-racial dispute with the person you’re counting on to guide your blindfolded face on the rope bridge. It’s just a loosing philosophy.
What I’m trying to say is that the Bulls should have won vs. the Jazz Monday night, and I’m glad nobody blamed it on the road. Basically it was Mehemet Okur who won the game. You couldn’t detect much weariness, road fatigue, or 2-1 road record complacency, they just met up with a solid team, with a clutch shooter.
