Bulls’ Skid Continues

January 11, 2007

The Bulls, overall, have come back from a dreadful start to the NBA season, but as of late their play has been streaky.  That trend continued on Wednesday night with a tough loss to the Washington Wizards.  The Bulls kept it close and also managed to contain Gilbert Arenas, who had “only” 20 points on 5-16 shooting, but the final score did not fall in their favor, as the Wizards won 113-103.

This loss marked the fourth in five games for the Bulls, who currently sit with a 20-16 record.  Kirk Hinrich led the way for Chicago, pouring in 33 points on 11-21 shooting, and Ben Wallace grabbed 16 rebounds.  However, 20 turnovers wound up being the dagger for the Bulls, who must now find a way to reverse their latest downward trend and get back on track.
